CP+B Vet Joins Amélie Company as Executive Creative Director

Denver-based Amélie Company welcomed Brian Friedrich as executive creative director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brian to Amélie and believe that his background in private sector advertising will help us attract clientele outside of our typical wheelhouse and open new doors for our growing agency,” Amélie Company CMO Robin Ashmore said in a statement.

Friedrich spent the past three years with CP+B as executive creative director on the Hotels.com account, following four months as interim executive creative director at Cole & Weber, where he led the winning pitch for the Washington State Lottery. Before that he spent two years with Deutsch as vice president, creative director, overseeing the dealer portion of the Volkswagen account. He also spent nearly four years as a creative director with TBWA\Chiat\Day, overseeing the Sara Lee account.

“With a successful track record of developing award-winning, global campaigns and leading creative teams, Brian is the secret sauce we have been searching for to foster Amélie’s creative charge and bring a fresh perspective and energy to our work,” Amélie Company CEO Benoît Guin said in a statement.
