CP+B to Move Global Infiniti Account to Its Los Angeles Office

By Erik Oster

The CP+B organization announced today that it will move operations on the global Infiniti account from its Boulder headquarters to its Los Angeles office, effective this June. As a result, creatives working on the global portion of the account will relocate to CP+B Los Angeles.

The agency provided the following statement:

“In June we will be relocating the global portion of the Infiniti account to CP+B, LA. This shift allows us to capitalize on the rich automotive culture and community in Los Angeles and importantly, be in close proximity to the Infiniti Design Center and their team. The US portion of the account will remain at CP+B Boulder.”

The news follows the appointment of new creative leads on the global account last month, namely executive creative director Steve Clarke and creative director Bo Deng. It also follows the news that Infiniti broke its global sales record last year.

Infiniti appointed CP+B as its global creative agency of record in October 2014, taking over for TBWA following a review which included seven agencies.  CP+B debuted its first work for the brand last April. Its other work for the client last year included a “Vacation” spot starring Christie Brinkley and a VR campaign.
