Commonwealth//McCann Appoints Jonathan Disegi as EVP

Commonwealth//McCann today announced the appointment of Jonathan Disegi as executive vice president, global director of strategy and research. In his new role, Disegi will lead the agency’s strategic operations in support of the Chevrolet account.

Disegi joins Commonwealth//McCann from JWT New York, where he spent over four years serving as global planning director and worked with clients including Microsoft Bing, Kleenex, Nokia, Schick and HSBC. While there, Disegi wona Gold Effie for the “Decision Engine” campaign for Microsoft Bing. Prior to that, Disegi was senior vice president and group head, strategic planning at Lowe and Partners Worldwide. Over the course of his seven-plus year stay at the agency he won a Silver Effie for SAAB’s “Born From Jets” campaign and worked with clients such as Perdue, Outback Steakhouse and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. His tenure at Lowe and Partners Worldwide followed a year and a half stint as principal, brand planning director at Publicis.


Additionally, Commonwealth//McCann appointed Iris Coldibelli and Charlie Quirk as global strategy directors, reporting to Disegi. Coldibelli arrives from McCann Worldgroup in Brazil, wheres she has served in various planning roles since 2008 and is a veteran of the Chevrolet account. Prior to McCann she spent over three years as planning and user experience manager at Ogilvy & Mather in Brazil, working with clients such as Nestlé, Microsoft, Advil and Nikon. Quirk arrives at Commonwealth//McCann from POSSIBLE in Seattle, where he served as associate director of strategy and planning on the Microsoft and AT&T accounts.
