Clapp Joins Profero UK as ECD

A little across-the-p0nd news? Sure, why not. After spending three years as creative director at London-based shop Elvis, where he worked on accounts including Virgin and helped win digital pitches for the likes of Honda, Red Bull and Sky, Ben Clapp has moved over to take on the ECD role at Profero U.K.

Clapp is taking over at Profero for Elspeth Lynn, who is leaving for a gig next month at M&C Saatchi. The agency’s new ECD, meanwhile, spent the majority of his career at Tribal DDB (eight years, give or take), where he picked up a couple of Gold Lions, a few Bill Bernbach awards and played a key role in winning the Guinness global account among other things. Profero’s client roster currently includes the likes of M&S, MINI, Smirnoff, Lipton Ice Tea and Barclays.
