Last month ads asking, “Why Believe in a god? Just be good for goodness sake” began popping up in Washington D.C. Soon after, more anti-theist holiday materials were spread around the intwewebs. Now Christians are responding, with PC-esque vigor (and infinitely smaller budgets) to remind us that for many people the holidays are about the Lord. It’s all good.
Here’s a few slogans you may expect to see around town if the Christians behind them can drum up the necessary cash.
Pennsylvania Friends of Christ: “Believe in God. Christ is Christmas for goodness sake.”
Center for Family Development: “Why Believe? Because I created you and I love you, for goodness’ sake.”
Random Christian JoEllen Murphy of Virginia: “Why believe? Because I created you and I love you, for goodness’ sake. -God.”
