On August 4th, we called ChoiceHotels to confirm whether or not they had indeed selected a new advertising agency. Word on the street was they’d moved from Arnold to Doner. At the time, the company would not say whether that portion was true, but indicated that they had chosen a new agency and would make an announcement soon. They told us we’d have an official statement later that week or the following week.
Well that time has come and gone and still no announcement. We wonder what’s happened — a stall like this can’t be good for an ailing Doner. ChoiceHotels did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Nor did Doner.
Update: From Choice reps, “We have not yet made an official announcement. Should make an announcement soon.”
