Carmichael Lynch, 7th Gen End Relationship

By Kiran Aditham

This afternoon, we received confirmation that Carmichael Lynch’s time as agency of record for Seventh Generation has come to a close after just seven months. It was last October that the Minneapolis agency was awarded the creative account for the green products company, replacing 180 LA. At the time of the win, 7th Gen CEO Chuck Maniscalco told Brandweek that CL’s “dedication to sustainable business practices is commendable and consistent with our mission and vision as an organization.”

Though the exact reasons for the split haven’t been revealed, the agency says it is wrapping up work for its former client and issued this brief statement: “We are extremely proud of our ideas, efforts and achievements, and wish Seventh Generation nothing but continued success.” Seventh Gen has yet to comment on the matter.
