Anyway, Nancy Cartwright is the voice behind Bart Simpson, and recently she used that voice to alert people to an upcoming Scientology event. Click play, above, to hear the message. Not only is it inappropriate to use the character’s voice in such a way, but Bart doesn’t seem like the religious type, so in a way Cartwright is soiling the brand that’s paid her bills since 1987.
