Walrus will be tasked with leading creative, media and packaging design for Slow-Mag and partnering with Diray Media to oversee creative for Colace. Creative for both brands was previously handled in-house.
“Avrio Health is a new kind of healthcare company with a mission to use technology to imagine the impossible and improve lives. Slow-Mag and Colace are two leading OTC brands with the potential to deliver on that mission,” Avrio Health general manager Carrie Chomiak said in a statement. “I worked with Walrus on Emergen-C while at at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. We are confident that Walrus’ digital acumen, in-house media capabilities, and unexpected creativity is exactly the formula we need to drive both these businesses forward.”
“We are excited to announce our partnership with Avrio Health as we build on Walrus’ Health and Wellness expertise,” added Walrus co-founder and chief operating officer Frances Webster. “More importantly, we are thrilled to reconnect with the amazing Carrie Chomiak and her incredible team.”
Walrus is currently working on campaigns spanning broadcast, digital, social media, mobile, print, packaging, and audio. The agency’s audio campaign for Slow-Mag will break some time next month, with further work for the Avrio Health brands expected in June.
