And the Grand Effie Goes To….

Leo Burnett, Detroit, which captured the top prize at the 42nd Annual North America Effie Awards held at Cipriani in NYC this week. Yeah, we glossed over the announce yesterday, but it’s worth commending Leo’s “I’m In” effort, which we first reported on last August and was the passion project of the agency’s late ECD George Katsarelas. “I’m In” also picked up a Silver Effie in both the Small Budgets–Services and GoodWorks–Non-Profit categories. The jury consisted of everyone from TBWA chief digital officer Colleen DeCourcy to Converse CMO Geoff Cottrill. See case study on “I’m In” below.
