Fame & Fortune = More Firearms in VH1’s ‘Wonderful World’

By Kiran Aditham

It seems like the folks at Y&R New York had Biggie’s “Mo Money, Mo Problems” bumping in their brains when coming up with this print ad that’s one of several in a new campaign for VH1 Latin America called the “Wonderful World of VH1”. While the message is in fact that VH1 “understands the rules of the music business: the more extreme an artist becomes, the more successful he/she gets”, what the network perhaps doesn’t understand is the sensitivities of people who might find this offensive. The white tiger is a nice touch, though. Of course, rap isn’t the only genre covered. After the jump, check out blues, Latin and even a little ode to the always unstable Amy Winehouse.
