Our resident ad-hater Kevin Allocca, who doubles as editor of TVNewser, cobbled together his own version of the Ninja Assassins ad you’ve seen like a thousand times lately.
As you can see in the screen shots, three of the four “reviews” used in the official trailer (not posted here) are from the same guy, Drew McWeeny, of Hitfix.com, who wrote about the film earlier this year. Interestingly, he never uses the word “gory” — rather sticks to “gore” (twice) and “gore-soaked”. The things you stumble across when trying to make fun of bad advertising.
