42 Years, Poulters Closing Shop

By Matt Van Hoven

Well it looks like the American ad economy isn’t the only one that’s hurting (yeah, no surprise). But a symptom of the pain can be found in Poulters, a Leeds based ads and marketing firm with a 42 year history (Damn!). They’re closing their doors at the behest of parent company Bezier.

As Tribble reports, the company hasn’t formally announced the move on their Web site, but a few articles and rumblings have confirmed it.

Best known by those in Yorkshire, the shop was bought by Bezier just 18 months ago. Ouch.

Some of their more notable clients include Kelloggs, Kleenex 9brand tissues…for all of you who refer to facial tissue as Kleenex…shame shame) and Manchester United, or ManU, one of the UK’s many football (yeah, football) teams.
