2andSunny Gets Deep Into The Game

By SuperSpy

I’ve always been a bit of a sycophant for 72andSunny, so today’s editorial in Adweek has caught my eye. The shop has hired Matt Jarvis from Playstation’s agency Deutsch/LA to fill the role of managing director and chief strategy officer. Jarvis will be filling the big shoes of co-founder Greg Perlot who broke ranks and went over to the client side. Jarvis said:

We’re interested in new business models and we’re advocates of venture creativity. We have incredible creative capital to invest. We’re willing to put skin in the game that would make most agencies blush, and that’s real partnership.”

Sure. Why not? It’s true that 72 has some great creatives in both their California and Amsterdam shops. Remember? The shop won a Lion this year for their work on Nike’s “Next Level” campaign. In the video above, you take a sneak peek at the office they are currently renovating. Are big things to come from 72andSunny? I hope so.
