WNYW Makes World Safe From Picasso Painting’s Breasts

By Kevin Eck

Last night, the regular 10:00 p.m. producer for the FOX owned New York station WNYW was off. His replacement decided to go all John Ashcroft on Picasso and make a $179 million piece of art family friendly.

The station blurred out the painted naughty bits on Picasso’s Women of Algiers while reporting about the big sale.

This morning, on WNYW‘s Good Day New York, Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto poked fun of those country bumpkins on the 10:00 p.m. news while proudly displaying the cubist breasts, “Because we are art connoisseurs,” said Scotto.

>An earlier version identified the blurrers as WTTG in Washington, D.C. I had it wrong. Apologies.
