WSPA, the CBS affiliate in Greenville, S.C., has named Kirk Varner news director. Varner announced the move on his LinkedIn page.
In June, Varner left Cincinnati’s WKRC after four years. Before Cincinnati, he served as news director at New Haven, Conn., ABC affiliate WTNH for nearly a decade.
