Krista Lander, sports director for Springfield, IL, ABC affiliate WICS, is leaving broadcasting Thursday to take a job as public relations manager for the Central Illinois Food Bank.
According to the State Journal-Register, Lander just got married. “My husband works normal hours; I don’t,” said Lander. “You never will in my position. I really want to spend time with my husband. We want to start a family. I don’t want to miss anything.”
Lander started at WICS in December 2010. She has also worked in Twin Falls, ID, and Odessa, TX.
