At an Indianapolis press conference today ahead of this weekend’s Super Bowl, WCVB anchor Bianca de la Garza asked halftime performer Madonna who she would rather hang out with on a Saturday night — Giants quarterback Eli Manning or Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (edited version above, at the :50 mark).
“I have to say Eli because he lives in New York,” Madonna answered. “And I don’t want him [Brady] to waste gas.”
Another Boston local news personality, WFXT’s Doug “VB” Goudie, asked Madonna if a high ankle sprain — the same injury that plagues Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski — would affect her performance.
“I would just tape my ankle and say prayers, take an anti-inflammatory and get my butt out there,” Madonna answered, adding she hopes Gronkowsi does play.
