WBBJ sports anchor Justin Walters is moving to New York to work at WRNN/FiOS1 as a sports anchor.
“Thank you to WBBJ for believing in a young, ambitious New Yorker to restart your sports department,” Walters wrote on his Facebook page. “These past 2.5 years have been amazing! A bigger thanks to the community for welcoming me into your homes every night!!!”
Walters started at the Jackson, Tenn. ABC and CBS affiliate in June 2013. Before that he was a production assistant and associate producer at Comcast Sportsnet in Philadelphia.
