Super Bowl Champ Corey Clement Gives Philly the Forecast

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

From Super Bowl champion to impromptu forecaster, Eagles running back Corey Clement scored big with viewers when doing the weather on Good Day Philadelphia.

“I don’t know when it’s going to rain, but it’s going to rain,” he said with the help of weather anchor Sue Serio in front of the radar.

According to a WTXF spokesperson, Clement’s appearance at the green screen wasn’t planned. He was standing at the wall right before Serio was set to do her weather hit and she asked him if he wanted to try it out. After some coaxing the Super Bowl champion agreed but didn’t realize it was a live hit until afterwards.

“It’s not as easy as they make it look on TV,” Clement said on Twitter.
