St. Louis Anchor Lands in Kansas City

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Former KSDK anchor Pat McGonigle has landed in Kansas City.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, McGonigle will begin co-anchoring the 10 p.m. newscast at WDAF, the FOX affiliate, on July 17th.

TVSpy first told you about McGonigle’s departure from the Tegna-owned NBC affiliate in St. Louis in June. He was the third anchor on the station’s morning show. The station has not replaced him.

McGonigle will replace Phil Witt, who recently retired from the station after 38 years, the paper reports.
