Meredith has hired Scott Levy to be the news director at Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV.
Levy replaces Ed Kosowski who left the station last week.
“I seized an opportunity,” Levy told The Buffalo News. “It is with a great company, Meredith.”

His last day at WIVB in Buffalo is August 12.
“I’m sorry he is leaving us, but happy for his next career move,” said WIVB GM Rene LaSpina in an email obtained by TVSpy. “Scott joined us about 2 years ago; he re-invigorated our newsroom, changed how we deliver news to viewers, and created a momentum that is resonating with our viewers resulting in an uptick in our Nielsen ratings.”
