Ashley James, a morning anchor and reporter at WTOL, the CBS affiliate in Toledo, Ohio, is leaving the Buckeye State for a new gig in Maryland.
James is joining Baltimore ABC affiliate WMAR as a reporter and multimedia journalist for the station’s a.m. show, Good Morning Maryland, the Scripps-owned station announced today.
“I’m very excited to have Ashley James join our Good Morning Maryland team,” said Kelly Groft, WMAR news director. “She’s familiar with the area, as this is a move that brings her closer to home, and loves morning news, so she will fit in with our team perfectly.”
