Randi Goldklank’s Attorney Calls Public Striptease Arrest a ‘Misunderstanding’

By Andrew Gauthier

The attorney for Randi Goldklank is calling her client’s recent arrest for disorderly conduct a “misunderstanding.”

Goldklank, who has been dismissed from her sales manager post at West Palm Beach’s WPEC, was arrested three weeks ago following a striptease in a trendy Delray Beach restaurant.  The police report said that Goldklank was “touching herself, removing her top and dancing on a pole like a stripper.”  The manager of the restaurant called 9-1-1 after Goldklank refused to leave.

“There was a verbal misunderstanding between things that were said and things that were done by Ms. Goldklank and others in the establishment,” Goldklank’s attorney told the Boston Herald.

Her attorney also asserts that Goldklank was sober when the incident occurred.

This is not Goldklank’s first run-in with the law.  She left her previous job, as vice president and general manager of Boston’s WHDH and WLVI, amid allegations of unruly behavior on an airplane.
