Jeff Desnoyers has been named evening meteorologist for WLNE.
Before coming to the Providence ABC affiliate, Desnoyers was at FiOS1News in New York.
“We’re excited to introduce Jeff to our viewers,” said WLNE news director Nic Moye. “His expertise will be of great value as we head into cooler fall and winter weather. Everyone watching will walk away with a better understanding of what’s happening around us. Jeff will fit in well with our experienced evening news team, John Deluca, Alexandra Cowley, Liz Tufts and Ken Bell.”

He’s also worked at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wy,. and WMBD in Peoria, Ill.
