When Channel 4 (WTAE) executives decided on their latest weather center shake-up, new-to-the-market Mike Harvey was placed in the unenviable position of replacing the well-liked Stephen Cropper as chief meteorologist at 5, 6 and 11 weeknights.
“He is a really good guy, and he’s done everything possible to make the transition here for me very easy, as has everyone,” Mr. Harvey said of Mr. Cropper earlier this month. “Stephen is just an absolute class act. I hope we are working together for a long time.”
