Jody Norstedt becomes WDAY’s new weekend sports anchor. The Fargo ABC-affiliate said this week that Norstedt, who began her career with sister station WDAZ, was “a natural fit” for the station’s sports team.

Reporter Cody Holyoke is leaving WSFA in Montgomery, AL to join Milwaukee NBC-affiliate WTMJ, climbing from market #117 to #35.

Dan Corcoran joins WPTV in West Palm Beach, FL as a MMJ. Corcoran, a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, previously worked for KEZI in Eugene, OR.

Amanda Guerra, who grew up in the Dallas area, is set to join KXAS as a reporter. She’s spent the last three years with Oklahoma City’s KOCO.

Longtime KVLY/KXJB anchor-reporter Steve Poitras announced his plans last week to step away from TV. “It was Steve’s decision,” news director Griff Potter said. “He said he wanted to try something new.”

After nearly 17 years, political reporter Kevin Riggs is leaving KCRA in Sacramento for a position as Senior Vice President at Randle Communications, a Sacramento-based political consulting and public affairs firm.
