Nexstar Names GM of WHTM, Promotes Replacement

Steve Daniloff will take Robert G. Bee‘s job as vp and GM of Nexstar Broadcasting-owned NBC and CBS affiliate WBRE-WYOU in Wilkes-Barre-Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Bee will move to Nexstar’s Harrisburg ABC affiliate WHTM to work as its vp and GM.

Bee was director of Sales at WTAE in Pittsburgh, before joining Nexstar in 2012. He’s also worked as GSM at WGAL in Harrisburg, Pa., WXIX in Cincinnati and WLIG in Long Island, New York.

Daniloff was the Director of Sales at WBRE before his promotion. He’s also worked at WSAV in Savannah, Ga., Root Sports in Pittsburgh, Pa., WEWS in Cleveland, WNWO in Toledo, Ohio, WKRC and WSTR in Cincinnati and WOIO in Cleveland., where he started his career.

“Steve’s extensive sales management leadership and entrepreneurial approach is reflected in the ongoing revenue share outperformance and high level of sales productivity at our Wilkes-Barre/Scranton operations,” said Nexstar svp and regional manager Theresa Underwood. “Localism is a top priority at Nexstar and Steve has consistently demonstrated his strong commitment to the local communities he has proudly served for over 25 years, including eight of the last ten years serving local markets throughout Pennsylvania.”
