Marc Hefner has been named vp and GM of Nexstar-owned WSAV in Savannah, Georgia.
Hefner comes from the station group’s WCWJ in Jacksonville, Florida. WSAV is one of the stations bought by Nexstar in its multi-billion dollar merger with Media General.

Before working at Nexstar, Hefner worked in sales in Jacksonville at WTLV, WJXX, WAWS and WTEV. He’s also worked at KCTV in Kansas City, Missouri, WZTV and WXMT in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the last week, Nexstar has announced four new GMs and announced changes to its executive leadership team.
