Moira joined WBIR as an intern in 1984. From there she quickly climbed the ranks from intern, to weather, to reporter, to anchor. During this time, she has held many responsibilities, including hosting Style, Live at 5 at 4, 10News at Noon, and Mornings with Fox 43.

Kaye retired once before from WBIR. In 2008, she told the Knoxville News Sentinel, “I’m really leaving. I’m retiring. I’m leaving the station. I’m going to be like a private citizen who happens to have been a former employee. I’m not going to be employed by Channel 10 anymore.”

Kaye’s last newscast will be Friday, May 29.
