Melissa Nardo is joining Tampa, Fla., NBC affiliate WFLA as a reporter.
“I am certainly going to miss everyone,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “I appreciate everyone who has shared their views with me, followed along with my page, and who shared story ideas.”
She was an intern at WPMT before being hired in 2009 as an assignment editor. She worked her way from writer to producer to special projects producer before reporting.

She said her last day at the York, Pa., Fox affiliate will be Friday, Feb. 19.
