Management Shakeup Hits ESPN Radio

ESPN Radio announced Monday (Dec. 28) several important changes in its management, effecting the operations of its radio network, digital platforms and radio group.

Under the new organization, two senior vps, Mo Davenport and Jim Pastor will report to Traug Keller, senior vp of production, business units, ESPN.

Mo Davenport assumes the role of senior vp of ESPN Radio, responsible for all audio content across ESPN Radio and its digital platforms. Jim Pastor will head up a newly created department, ESPNLocal.com, responsible for the strategy and development of the locally branded ESPN sites recently launched in Chicago, Boston, Dallas and Los Angeles.

Reporting to Davenport are Tim McCarthy, John Cravens and Mike Connolly. As senior vp, McCarthy heads up oversight of ESPN Radio’s owned-and-operated stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Pittsburgh. Roberts, formerly senior coordinating producer, studio production ESPN News replaces McCarthy as vp and general manager of ESPN 1050 in New York, reporting to McCarthy.More…
