Man Arrested for Double Homicide Interviewed by KTUL at Murder Scene

A man suspected of taking part in an execution-style double homicide was interviewed by a KTUL photojournalist just hours before he was arrested yesterday.

“I think it’s real crazy,” Darren Price told KTUL reporter Latoya Silmon (video above). “I bring my kids out here to play. You gotta raise the question, is it safe to even walk around this town?”

“He was excited to be on television, is how I took it,” Silmon told Tulsa radio station KRMG. “I mean, he was very easy to talk to. He had no qualms about going on camera at all. He immediately was like, ‘Sure, I’ll talk.'”

KTUL reported that Price confessed to the murders of Ethen Nichols and Carrissa Horton, which took place on Sunday night in the same park where Price gave his interview. Price and his accomplice, Jirao Davis, are being held without bail at the Tulsa County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder.
