Longtime Nashville morning anchor Steve Hayslip is leaving TV news to join his wife as a partner in her growing skincare business.

“BREAKING NEWS! Look who has said goodbye to his TV job and joined me in my Rodan+Fields business!” Hayslip’s wife, Kathy, said in a lengthy Facebook post over the weekend just after the anchor announced he was leaving WTVF.

According to the Tennessean, Hayslip’s departure comes two weeks after he posted and then took down an insensitive Tweet about a story surrounding a recent string of stabbings. FTVLive first reported the story.
