KWWL Reporter Goes To Trial In Contempt Of Court Case

KWWL reporter Elizabeth Amanieh will head to trial, according to the Associated Press. 

She is accused of violating a court order to not take courtroom video of The Bachelor star, Chris Soules. TVSpy reported on the story when it first broke.

Now, prosecutors are pursuing contempt of court proceedings against Amanieh, who is a MMJ for the NBC affiliate in Waterloo, Iowa.

KWWL published exclusive video of Soules’ April court appearance after he was jailed for an accident that killed a local man.

The Associated Press reports that a bench trail has been set for September 28. 

If convicted, the 22-year-old reporter could be punished with a fine and jail time.
