Nexstar owned KTVX has announced an anchor team change on its 4:00pm news. In will be Nadia Crow (pictured left) and Brian Carlson (pictured right), out will be Kim Fischer and Brent Hunsaker.

Crow comes to the Salt Lake City ABC affiliate from KCRG in Cedar Rapids, IA, where she had been an anchor and reporter for three years.

“From the moment we saw them together, we knew we had a great team in the making,” said KTVX-KUCW news director George Severson. “Brian and Nadia compliment one another really well. They’re capable newscasters with heart and charm. I know viewers will trust them and welcome the pair into their homes each afternoon.”

Crow will also anchor for sister station CW affiliate KUCW‘s 9:00pm newscast. Currently, Carlson is an evening reporter for KTVX and a 9:00pm anchor for KUCW.

The station said Fischer and Hunsaker will “will focus on ABC 4 Utah News at 5, 6 and 10 P.M. as well as being contributors to the 4 P.M. and other newscasts.” Crow and Carlson will begin anchoring at 4:00pm this Thursday, June 27.
