Frank Mallicoat is out and Kenny Choi is in on the KPIX morning show.
San Francisco Bay Area media blogger Rich Lieberman first reported the news that Mallicoat’s contract won’t be renewed at the San Francisco CBS-owned station.
The San Jose Mercury News reports the morning show has lost ratings. We told you a couple of weeks ago that Brandice Bailey is joining the station in March from Houston’s KRIV as the show’s new ep.

Choi, who starts April 11, was the 10 p.m. anchor at KITV in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mallicoat has worked at KPIX since February 2011.
