A San Francisco morning radio show enlisted KPIX anchor Allen Martin to read the lyrics to Kanye West’s new song “Awesome.”
“After listening, we decided that the best way to experience Kanye’s lyrical ‘genius’ in this ballad about his wife Kim Kardashian was to strip everything away,” the station writes on its website. “So we enlisted our friend and TV Anchorman Allen Martin from our sister news station CBS SF to read the lyrics. Allen was kind enough to indulge us.”
After he was done, Martin called the lyrics “bad Dr. Seuss.”
