KMSP reporter Jack Highberger was one of 42 people arrested last night after protestors stopped traffic on a Minnesota interstate to bring attention to the police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark.
Clark’s death was confirmed Tuesday. He was shot in the head by Minneapolis police on Sunday. Click here to read the KMSP timeline of what happened.
This morning during its 5 a.m. news, the Fox-owned Minneapolis-St. Paul station said Highberger was “simply reporting from the side of the road.” He was booked and charged with unlawful assembly and is due in court next month.
