Katz Television Group announced today that Leo MacCourtney and Craig Broitman have been tapped to lead the company, following the departures of longtime executives Jim Beloyianis and Michael Spiesman.

Beloyianis had served as president of Katz Television Group since 1994 and Spiesman had been president of Katz’s Continental Television Sales, which represents 185 stations across the country, since 1999.

MacCourtney and Broitman have been named co-presidents of Katz Television Group, as the company emphasizes its commitment to innovation.

In his new role, MacCourtney will, according to the press release, “focus on strengthening broadcaster relationships, driving business development, and overseeing overall strategic direction for the company.”

Broitman will “lead ad sales operations, agency and broadcaster connectivity, and continue to head the development of the company’s digital capabilities.”
