Here are the Social Media Leaders in Denver

By Kevin Eck

TEGNA’s Denver NBC affiliate KUSA is the social media leader for the nation’s 17th largest market, according to data from Share Rocket.

KUSA’s 36 share beat the 28 from Tribune’s Fox affiliate KDVR over the last 30 days.

The NBC affiliate also maintains its dominance in total audience (which includes all the individuals at the station) with more than 900,000 followers, which Share Rocket says “is a very large gap considering the station is ahead by just eight points in Share.”

CBS-owned KCNC saw a solid 30 days of gains on social, growing its share and SEI scores by more than 20 percent during the period. Its total audience on social grew by 3.2 percent, which was the highest growth percentage in the market.

Share Rocket says KUSA “Crushed it” on Twitter over the last 30 days. The station and its employees combined had a 59 Share score on Twitter, while the next closest station had a 16 Share.

KDVR’s Kevin Torres led individuals with a 1.22 share. Kyle Clark from KUSA was second with a 1.12 share.
