‘Good Day Philadelphia’ Anchors Were Off to See The Wizard This Morning

By Kevin Eck

Calling their portrayal, “very accurate” the actress playing Dorothy in the new stage production of the “Wizard of Oz” visited the set of Good Day Philadelphia.

Danielle Wade was talking about the WTXF anchors dressing up like The Cowardly Lion (Mike Jerrick), The Tin Man (Quentin Harris) and Dorothy (Jennaphr Frederick) and dancing and singing, which is code for hopping around and half shouting in unison.

A special treat? Besides hearing Wade’s rendition of “Over the Rainbow,” watch as Harris’ Tin Man grips his pants as though he’s fearful they may drop at any second.
