Austin Fox-owned station KTBC has signed NFL player Emmanuel Acho as a contributor for Good Day Austin.
Acho will give his take on college and professional football, pop culture and news of the day until the end of the season on the weekday morning show.
“It’s always given me great pride to have the support of my Texas family, especially while in the NFL,” said Acho “Coming back home was a dream of mine and joining Fox is an exciting opportunity to broaden my skills as a television personality and bring unique stories to the audience.”
Acho is a free agent who spent the last three seasons playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played at the University of Texas and co-hosts Texas Game Day on ESPN and is a regular contributor for ESPN’s Longhorn Network.
