Orlando Salinas, the former WDBJ reporter who was accused of rape has been denied bail.
Salinas is accused of raping a 64-year-old woman who uses a walker to get around.
According to Montgomery County Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Nicole Terry Salinas had been texting the woman for months before the alleged rape occurred.

The Roanoke Times reports Salinas’ lawyer said his client “vigorously disputes” the allegations.
Salinas worked at WDBJ from 2012 until he was fired for insubordination in 2015. He’s been selling real estate.
