Sioux City, Iowa, NBC affiliate KTIV has announced that Deana Day will join its station as news director. Day comes from ABC affiliate WTOK in Meridian, Miss., where she co-anchored the 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. newscasts.
“We are thrilled to have Deana join the KTIV family,” KTIV station manager Bridget Breen said. “Her depth of experience in management and on-air performance are a dynamic fit for the team. She understands the needs and demands of the entire newscast process and the impact that has on the staff and our viewers.”

Prior to joining WTOK, Day worked in marketing and public relations.
