Carlos Suarez has been promoted to weekend evening anchor at WPLG, the ABC affiliate in Miami.
Suarez joined the station two years ago as a general assignment reporter. Before WPLG, Suarez worked at WINK, the CBS affiliate in Fort Myers. He will anchor the weekend evening newscasts alongside Jacey Birch.
