WBBM reporter Sandra Torres was getting ready for a live shot on the Chicago CBS-owned station when a cab and a bike collided behind her.
Torres and the station photographer checked on the guy, who was able to walk off. WBBM reported at 10 p.m., the cyclist broke a bone in his hand. Though he initially blamed the cab driver, video showed the cyclist ran the red. The cab driver was ticketed for driving without a license.
“I’m pretty banged up,” the cyclist told WBBM. “I’ve had better days.”
