WBRC, the Fox affiliate in Birmingham, Ala., has hired Bree Sison to anchor its new 4 p.m. newscast.
Sison, who joins WBRC on Tuesday, Sept. 6, comes from WBZ in Boston, where she was a reporter and anchor.
“Bree will be a tremendous asset to our community,” said WBRC news director Shannon Maze. “Her experience, love of journalism and storytelling abilities are invaluable. We are excited for her to join the WBRC Team and serve Alabama with us.”

The station’s 4 p.m. newscast will launch Monday, Sept. 12.
