Birds Attack WXIA Staffers Outside Atlanta Studios

Looking a bit like Rod Taylor and Tippi Hedren in “The Birds,” staffers at Atlanta’s WXIA have been dodging an aggressive flock of birds near the NBC-affiliate’s studios (video above).

The birds, which some have identified as brown thrashers, have taken up residence atop a driveway light pole and regularly swoop down to attack passerby.

“What did I ever do to you?!” WXIA photojournalist Shawn Hoder was heard yelling at the birds after being attacked recently.
