Jesus Lopez has joined Bakersfield, Calif., ABC affiliate KERO as an evening meteorologist.
“My move to Bakersfield and my crossover to English has been nothing but amazing as I keep growing as a professional,” Lopez told Media Moves. “I’m thrilled to also keep informing the Hispanic community here in Bakersfield as I will also broadcast for Azteca TV.”
He comes from Spanish-language station KTUZ in Oklahoma City where he was the first certified Spanish speaking broadcast meteorologist in Oklahoma.
